First, you need to choose which Racial Mount you want to ride (see the pictures on the right side). Once you have chosen, you must find the city faction NPC (see below). He will discuss with you, then, he will give you an insignia (diplomatic necklace) that, when you wear it, allows you to gather coins specific to the city.

When you kill mobs that give you experience with the necklace on, you have a chance that coins appear in your inventory. Copper, silver and gold coins can be traded for faction, the platinum coins are used to buy gear (see the racial armor sets) and mounts.

The coins

Each of the first three coin types can be traded for faction.
