This fight is all about learning the adds and dealing with them in a controlled way when they spawn, if we do not react fast then it can quickly go wrong.

The Adds

The adds spawn at 95%, 80%, 65%, 50% and 35%.

At 95%, 80% and 65% there are two random adds, at the 50% and 35% marks, three adds spawn.

Adds need to be fought away from Varking to avoid area of effect spells (aoes damages, stuns and heals). Also they need to be away from the rest of the raid.

It's better to have them killed in this order:

Decaying Soulthief

The Decaying Soulthief must be killed from range.

It has an aoe and does around 2000 damages per second called Strangling Gas.

It hits for around 6000 damages but after two minutes, it does a 300% damage buff and hits for around 18000 damages.

Every type of spells heals him.

Ancient Warden

The Ancient Warden pushes back.

Melee damages only on this add, all spell damages are reversed. Lifetap would deal damages on the tank.

Undying Arcanist

The Undying Arcanist needs to be disenchanted/counterspelled each time he casts Shielding, otherwise it becomes invulnerable.

This add also needs to be killed from range. It has an aoe.

All damage types are allowed on this add.

Blasphemous Mysticant

The Blasphemous Mysticant heals Varking, so it must be killed quickly. Casters must counterspell it.

Melee damage only. All spell damages are absorbed by this add.

Credulous Cadaver

Do not do any damage on this add.

Having a Psionicist is a must on the Credulous Cadaver, because of the use of Simulacrum. After a few seconds, it will expode and die.

Miscellaneous Adds

There are two other adds (fire and cold elementals) that can spawn, each of them is weak to their opposite element.
